What is Warmachine? From the website:

The aggressive, metal-on-metal WARMACHINE game is set in the Iron Kingdoms, an environment that combines the richness of traditional fantasy with the excitement of steam power and gunpowder. Across the realm, ancient rivalries among nations are exploding into all-out conflict, setting the stage for WARMACHINE and other Iron Kingdom products.

In this 30 mm tabletop miniatures battle game, each player controls an elite soldier-sorcerer who leads an army into battle to fight for king, country, or simply coin. These warcasters are formidable and experienced combatants, and the warjacks they control represent the pinnacle of military might in the Iron Kingdoms.

WARMACHINE puts players directly onto the battlefield as warcasters and their armies clash. A game is fought with the thundering cannons, ripping iron claws, and crushing hammer blows of the giant steam-powered warjacks as well as the devastating spells wrought by the warcasters themselves and the lethal weapons of their warriors. When the dust settles, one side is victorious—and the other is nothing but smoking scrap metal!

Check Out Our New Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Terminal!

Looking for a new way to play Yu-Gi-Oh!? Come on in to Jay's CD & Hobby to play the ONLY Duel Terminal in Iowa! What is a Duel Terminal you may ask? Well...

The Duel Terminal itself looks like a traditional arcade machine, and has a variety of game modes, using cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game. Players can either use a Deck chosen by the system, or the Duelist can use his/her own cards, provided they have  "Duel Terminal"  where the Edition should be. These cards are recognized by the built-in card scanner, allowing the player to use the card in the game. "Duel Terminal Edition" cards are only available from "Duel Terminals". The game itself is priced at $1 and you get one card per play.

This 80s cult-classic toy line is back and growing thanks to the efforts of custom designers like GodBeast. His designs are quite the sensation and have produced special exclusives such as the ones for the 2010 Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo.

HeroScape LIVES!!!!

The popular expandable turn-based miniatures is still kicking strong and Jay's CD & Hobby has the latestest sets! 

Just in is the Dungeons & Dragon Master Set 3: Battle for the Underdark. Included are 10 figures, 50 interlocking terrain pieces, marking pieces, dice, and rulebook. We also have the latest collection expansion sets where you can get 5-7 figures to grow your army!

Looking to catch up on some expansion set? No problem, we also have a selection of the previously released sets!

We're in the process of setting up in-store HeroScape tournaments beginning sometime towards the end of January or early February. Stay tuned for the latest updates as this develops!

Just in! An all new multi-army miniatures game!

The year is 37 BCE. The Roman Empire, Egyptian Imperium, and the Han Dynasty battle for control of a magically ravaged world using legions of men and monsters, warriors and sorceresses, undead and gods. In the Arcane Legions game, players arrange and rearrange figures on unique formations bases to change tactics on the fly. Movement and combat is fast and deadly, using an abstracted movement system and a simple dice-off mechanic that will have you sending hundreds of figures to their deaths in under two hours!
